Blackjack is the card table Housebets builds itself. You play against the dealer on 1 to 7 boxes at once, with the same bet on each. Every card comes from a full 52 card deck, the dealer stands on all 17s and blackjack pays 3 to 2. With best play the main game returns 99.43%. Two side bets, 21+3 and Perfect Pairs, pay up to 100 to 1. The table can also run in its own window beside other games.

02How a round works
Set up
Enter the bet per box. The ½ and 2× keys halve or double it.
Pick 1, 2 or 3 boxes, or open More for 4 to 7. Every box gets the same bet and the same side bets. The Total bet line shows the sum.
Deal
Each box gets two cards and the dealer shows one. With an ace or a ten up, the dealer checks for blackjack first.
On an ace you get one insurance offer for all your boxes. It costs half of each box's bet and pays 2 to 1.
Play
Hit, Stand, Double or Split each hand in turn. Double works on any first two cards, also after a split, and takes one card.
Split once per box: any pair or any two ten-value cards. Split aces get one card each. 21 after a split is not a blackjack.
Dealer
The dealer stands on all 17s, soft 17 included.
Once every hand is decided, the dealer shows the hole card and stops drawing.
Pay
Blackjack pays 3 to 2. A win pays 1 to 1. A tie returns the stake. Blackjack against a dealer blackjack is a push.
Payouts round down to the smallest unit of the currency.
03Table rules: dealer stands on 17, blackjack pays 3 to 2
The Game rules window has three tabs: Standard, Side bets and Fairness. The Standard tab lists the deck, the dealer, your hands, the payouts, Cash out, Autobet and the limits. These are the rules that set the 99.43% figure.
| Rule | At this table |
|---|---|
| Deck | Infinite, every card a fresh draw from 52 |
| Dealer soft 17 | Stands |
| Dealer peek | On an ace or a ten |
| Double | Any first two cards, also after a split |
| Split | Once per box, any pair or two ten-value cards |
| Split aces | One card each |
| Surrender | Not offered |
| Blackjack | Pays 3 to 2 |
| Insurance | Pays 2 to 1, one choice for all boxes |
| Boxes | 1 to 7 a round |
An infinite deck means the cards already dealt do not change the next card. Counting cards does nothing here.
04Basic strategy chart for an infinite deck
The 99.43% holds only if you play every hand the right way. The Best play switch in Settings marks the right move on its button for each hand. These are the plays that matter most under these rules.
| Your hand | Dealer shows | Play |
|---|---|---|
| Hard 12 | 4 to 6 | Stand |
| Hard 12 | 2, 3, 7 to A | Hit |
| Hard 13 to 16 | 2 to 6 | Stand |
| Hard 13 to 16 | 7 to A | Hit |
| Hard 17 and up | Any | Stand |
| Hard 10 | 2 to 9 | Double |
| Pair of aces or 8s | Any | Split |
| Pair of 10s or 5s | Any | Never split |
| Any hand | Ace up | Decline insurance |
Standard basic strategy for these rules. The table in the screenshot above shows 16 against a 2, a stand.
0521+3 and Perfect Pairs: paytables and RTP
Turn on the Side bets switch to add them. They go on every box and are decided by the first cards dealt, whatever happens to the hand after. A straight counts the ace high or low, as Q K A or A 2 3, but K A 2 does not count.
| 21+3 hand | Pays | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Suited trips | 100 to 1 | 1 in 2,704 |
| Straight flush | 50 to 1 | 1 in 488 |
| Three of a kind | 30 to 1 | 1 in 180 |
| Straight | 10 to 1 | 3.07% |
| Flush | 4 to 1 | 6.01% |
| Pair | Pays | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Perfect pair | 25 to 1 | 1.92% |
| Coloured pair | 10 to 1 | 1.92% |
| Mixed pair | 6 to 1 | 3.85% |
Chances are our maths for an infinite deck. 21+3 pays on 9.88% of hands and returns 95.22%. Perfect Pairs pays on 1 in 13 hands and returns 98.08%. Housebets does not print a side bet RTP.
06House edge per $100 on each bet
The main game is the cheapest bet on the table. Every extra bet costs more over time. The last column is the average loss for every $100 you put on that bet.
| Bet | Return | Cost per $100 |
|---|---|---|
| Main game, best play | 99.43% | $0.57 |
| Perfect Pairs | 98.08% | $1.92 |
| 21+3 | 95.22% | $4.78 |
| Insurance | 92.31% | $7.69 |
The main game figure is the house figure with best play. The other rows are our maths for an infinite deck. Insurance returns 2 to 1, and a ten-value card is under the ace 4 times in 13.
07Cash out at 90%, Skip a card and other settings
Settings holds a switch for each table tool. Cash out stays hidden until you turn it on. In our session Skip a card, Face-down double, Max bet and Best play were off, and Autobet and the Win pop-up were on.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cash out | Ends a hand early for 90% of its value with best play. The amount shows on the button. Not on split aces. |
| Skip a card | Burns the next card, up to 10 times a round. The rules say it cannot change the odds. |
| Face-down double | Your double card stays face down until the dealer plays. |
| Best play | Marks the basic strategy move on its button, every hand. |
| Win pop-up | Shows the multiplier and the win on the table when a round pays. |
Cash out keeps 10% of the hand value for the house each time you use it. Use it only when you want out of a hand.
08Play Blackjack in a separate desktop window
The mini player button in the bottom bar opens the table in its own window on the desktop. The window has its own controls to pop out, resize, collapse and close. The table stays open while you play another game on Housebets, so you can run Blackjack beside a slot or another house game.
A round left without a decision for 24 hours is played out for you by best play, with no extra stake. Check the window before you close the browser.
09Provably fair: how each card is drawn and verified
Every card is fixed by seeds set before you bet. The Fairness tab in the rules and the Housebets provably fair page print the method.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Commit | Before you bet, the My seeds tab shows your active client seed and a SHA-256 hash of the server seed. The hash of the next server seed is shown too. |
| 2. Hash | HMAC-SHA256 runs with the server seed as the key, over your client seed, the round number and a block counter. |
| 3. Cards | Each card reads four bytes and maps them to one of 52 cards. Every card is drawn from a full deck. |
| 4. Order | Cards go to each box, the dealer up card, the second cards, the hole card, then hits, doubles, splits, burnt cards and the dealer's draws. |
| 5. Check | Finish the round, type a new client seed and press Rotate. The server seed is revealed, and the History and Verifier tabs replay every card and payout. |
The seed pair can only change once the round on the table is finished.
10Autobet: basic strategy on every hand
Autobet plays every hand by basic strategy for you. It declines insurance and never cashes out or skips a card. Pick how many rounds to play and when to stop.

- Boxes
- 1 to 7 boxes a round, the same as Manual.
- Side bets

11What 99.43% RTP means for your bankroll
The game page and the Housebets provably fair page both give 99.43% for the main game with best play. Over many hands the house keeps about 57 cents of every $100 you bet. Mistakes, insurance, Cash out and side bets all lower that. The bars compare the return of each bet.
Main game: house figure. Side bets and insurance: our maths for an infinite deck.
12How to keep the house edge at 0.57%
- Turn on Best playThe 99.43% needs basic strategy on every hand. The Best play switch marks the right move for you.
- Skip insuranceInsurance returns 92.31% on an infinite deck. That costs $7.69 for every $100 you insure.
- Keep side bets small21+3 returns 95.22% and Perfect Pairs 98.08%. They go on every box, so seven boxes mean seven side bets each.
- Count the total stakeSeven boxes at 1 USDT put 7 USDT on one deal before side bets. Watch the Total bet line.
- Use Cash out rarelyIt pays 90% of the hand value. Each use gives up 10% of that value.
- Skip does not helpEvery card comes from a full deck, so burning a card changes nothing.
- Open the separate windowThe mini player keeps the table on screen while you play another game, so a round is never lost in a closed tab.
- Rotate and verifyAfter a session, type a new client seed and press Rotate. The History and Verifier tabs replay each round card by card.
