Thrill Crash Witching Heights
File by Alex Jovanovic · checked 31 October 2026
Witching Heights is Thrill Crash in Halloween dress. A witch on a broom pulls the multiplier over a moonlit graveyard, and you cash out before she drops. The maths is the same as regular Crash: 99% RTP at any cashout and a 1,000,000x cap. One thing changes under the hood. The client seed comes from a public randomness beacon, picked before its value is published. From 30 October to 1 November 2026 the game also drops Witch Rain free bets from a $3,000 pool.

01A round in flight
02How a round works
Bet
Each round opens with a short betting window. Enter a stake and press Play. A bet placed while the witch is flying goes into the next round, so the button reads Play Next Round.
The bets panel counts the players and the money in the round.
Fly
The multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs while the witch flies. At a point fixed before the round, the board shows Crashed! and every bet still in loses.
Cash out
Press Cashout at any time, or set Cashout At and let the game take you out at that multiplier. The lock icon in the Cashout At box can block manual cashouts so the target runs to the end.
Multi Bet
Places more than one bet in the same round, each with its own cashout. The server sets how many you can hold.
Treats
A fourth tab beside Autoplay, with the pumpkin basket on the board. It belongs to the Witch Rain promotion.
03Your chance at each cashout
The crash point is 0.99 divided by a random number between 0 and 1, cut to two decimals. So the chance that a round reaches your target is 0.99 divided by the target. The payout is the target times the stake, which brings every cashout back to the same 99%. The table runs from the safest cashout to the cap.
| Cash out at | Chance | Rounds per hit | A $10 bet pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.01x | 98.02% | 1 in 1.02 | $10.10 |
| 1.25x | 79.20% | 1 in 1.26 | $12.50 |
| 1.50x | 66.00% | 1 in 1.52 | $15.00 |
| 2.00x | 49.50% | 1 in 2.02 | $20.00 |
| 3.00x | 33.00% | 1 in 3.03 | $30.00 |
| 5.00x | 19.80% | 1 in 5.05 | $50.00 |
| 10x | 9.90% | 1 in 10.1 | $100.00 |
| 50x | 1.98% | 1 in 50.5 | $500.00 |
| 100x | 0.99% | 1 in 101 | $1,000.00 |
| 1,000x | 0.099% | 1 in 1,010 | $10,000.00 |
Our maths from the published formula. 1% of rounds end at 1.00x before anyone can cash out. The top is 1,000,000x, about one round in 1,010,101. Thrill also caps the win per round, and the game warns you before a bet could pass it.
04What our screenshot shows
Nine results sit in the history row: 1.63x, 1.23x, 4.23x, 1.90x, 1.71x, 5.10x, 2.27x, 2.39x and 1.01x. Four of the nine reached 2x, close to the 49.5% the formula gives. The row colours results under 2x orange and 2x or more green. The live round at 1.41x held two bets under the same masked name, so one player ran Multi Bet. The two payouts give the stakes: $2.66 at 1.33x and $2.10 at 1.05x are $2.00 each, which matches the $4.00 in the panel.
| Bet | Cashed at | Payout | Stake |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | 1.33x | $2.66 | $2.00 |
| Second | 1.05x | $2.10 | $2.00 |
Nine rounds say little about the odds. The point is how to read the panel: payout divided by multiplier gives the stake.
05Play it in a small window
The minimise button in the game header shrinks Witching Heights into a small window. It floats above the casino, so you can open slots or another Original and keep the crash running in the corner. The small window keeps the full game: the board and history row, the Single, Multi, Auto and Treats tabs, Bet and Cashout At, the Treat Rain box and My Bets. The Live Stats, sound and Fairness buttons sit at the bottom. The expand button brings back the full page and the cross closes the game.
Your bets stay live while you browse. A bet with no Cashout At target still needs a press of Cashout, so set the target before you look away.
06Where the seed comes from
Regular Thrill Crash takes its round seed from the highest bet. Witching Heights takes the client seed from a public randomness beacon. That is an outside service that publishes random values at set times. Thrill picks the beacon round before its value comes out, so nobody knows the number in advance. Anyone can look the value up at the source.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Commit | Thrill fixes the server seed and shows its hash before the round. |
| 2. Beacon | A future beacon round is chosen. The fairness panel lists the Beacon Round ID, the Commitment Time and the Publication Time. |
| 3. Hash | HMAC-SHA512 runs with the server seed as the key over the beacon value, shown as the Fairness Seed. |
| 4. Number | The first 52 bits of the hash become a number between 0 and 1. |
| 5. Crash point | 0.99 divided by one minus that number, at least 1.00x, at most 1,000,000x, cut to two decimals. |
| 6. Check | View Randomness Source opens the published beacon value. Rebuild the crash point from the two seeds. |
The formula, the RTP and the cap are the same as regular Crash. Only the source of the client seed differs. Our provably fair guide shows how a seed check works step by step.
07Witch Rain free bets
Witch Rain runs from 30 October to 1 November 2026 with $3,000 in free bets. Some rounds are picked as Witch Rain rounds after betting closes. Everyone whose bet is still live when the drop lands gets a free bet worth 10% of the stake. Our board showed a Treat Rain pending at 99.44 USDT.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Qualifying bet | $1.00 or more, real money, on Witching Heights |
| Free bet | 10% of the stake, from $0.10 to $5.00 |
| Bet that gets the full $5.00 | $50 or more |
| Bet still in when the drop lands | Required. Cashed out, cancelled and voided bets miss out |
| Per round | One free bet per player |
| Free bet stakes | Cannot earn another Witch Rain |
| Valid for | 7 days |
| Most a free bet can win | $50 |
| Budget | $3,000. The promo can stop early when it runs out |
A $5.00 free bet hits the $50 win cap at 10x. Cashing out a free bet above 10x adds nothing.
08Biggest Wins and the $0.00 rows
Two of the top five rows add up. $366.98 at 1.37x paid $502.76, and $133.49 at 4.78x paid $638.11, so the bet column rounds the stake. The other three rows show a $0.00 bet at 0.00x with payouts of $58,204.50, $39,495.91 and $501.49 on 29 October 2026. A zero stake at 0.00x cannot pay anything under the game formula, and a free bet can win at most $50. We do not count those rows as wins.
| Row | Bet | Multiplier | Payout | Date | Our read |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $0.00 | 0.00x | $58,204.50 | 29 Oct | No stake to match |
| 2 | $0.00 | 0.00x | $39,495.91 | 29 Oct | No stake to match |
| 3 | $133.49 | 4.78x | $638.11 | 31 Oct | Stake about $133.50 |
| 4 | $366.98 | 1.37x | $502.76 | 31 Oct | Matches to the cent |
| 5 | $0.00 | 0.00x | $501.49 | 29 Oct | No stake to match |
The rows dated 29 October came a day before Witch Rain began, so the game was live before the promo. The Luckiest tab topped out at 99.99x on 30 October, a 0.99% shot.
09Six keys
Settings opens a Hotkeys window. Space does two jobs: it places the bet before the round and cashes out during it. The target keys move Cashout At, so you can change the exit without the mouse.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Space | Place Bet / Cashout |
| S | Double Bet Amount |
| A | Halve Bet Amount |
| D | Zero Bet Amount |
| E | Increase Target Multiplier |
| W | Decrease Target Multiplier |
Thrill warns that hotkeys stay on in every game until you switch them off. A stray Space press in another game places a bet.
10Live Stats
Live Stats counts Profit, Wagered, Wins and Losses. The All Games dropdown lets you narrow it to one game. On Witching Heights the Losses figure includes every round that crashed at 1.00x.
11Autoplay
Autoplay repeats the same bet and cashout for a set number of rounds. Bet Amount takes the stake, with 1/2 and X2 beside it. Cashout At sets the exit for every round, and its lock blocks manual cashouts. # of Bets sets the number of rounds, and the infinity button runs until you stop. Advanced Autoplay adds On Win and On Loss rules and Stop On Profit and Stop On Loss limits. We left it off.
12The same 1% at every target
Cash out at 1.10x or at 100x and the long run return is still 99%. The target only changes how often you win and how hard the losses come in a row. The bars show four common targets.

13How to play it well
- Pick a target for the swing you wantEvery target pays back 99% over time. Low targets win often in small steps. High targets lose many rounds in a row.
- Expect the 1.00x roundOne round in 100 crashes at 1.00x. No cashout setting avoids it.
- Stay in for Witch RainThe free bet goes only to bets still live when the drop lands. A very low auto cashout often takes you out first.
- Bet $50 for the full dropThe free bet is 10% of the stake up to $5.00. Smaller bets get smaller drops.
- Cash free bets out by 10xA $5.00 free bet can win $50 at most, which it reaches at 10x.
- Use the lock with careWith the lock on, Cashout does nothing and the round runs to your target or the crash.
- Switch hotkeys off when you leaveSpace places bets in every Thrill game while hotkeys are on.
14Questions players ask
What is the RTP of Crash Witching Heights?
The game page gives 99% RTP and a 1% house edge. The rate is the same at any cashout target.
Who makes Crash Witching Heights?
Thrill builds it in house as part of Thrill Originals. It is a Halloween edition of Thrill Crash.
How is it different from regular Thrill Crash?
The theme and the seed. The witch, the graveyard and the Treats tab are new. The client seed comes from a public randomness beacon, while regular Crash uses the highest bet. The RTP, the formula and the cap are the same.
What is the max multiplier?
1,000,000x. By our maths about one round in 1,010,101 reaches it.
How often does it crash at 1.00x?
In 1% of rounds, by our maths from the published formula.
What is Witch Rain?
A free bet drop that ran from 30 October to 1 November 2026 with a $3,000 budget. Bet at least $1.00 and stay in the round. The free bet is 10% of your stake, from $0.10 to $5.00, lasts 7 days and can win up to $50.
Can I check a round?
Yes. The fairness panel lists the server seed hash, the beacon round and its publication time. Look up the beacon value at the source and rebuild the crash point with HMAC-SHA512.
What do the $0.00 rows in Biggest Wins mean?
We could not match them to a bet. A $0.00 stake at 0.00x pays nothing under the game formula, so we do not treat those payouts as wins.
Witching Heights changes the costume and the seed. The 99% and the cap stay where regular Crash has them. The beacon seed is the part worth your attention: Thrill commits to a number nobody has seen yet, and you can look it up yourself after the round.
